No, insurance is not required for membership. However, we do recommend having insurance to comply with federal law. Vegas VIP Medicine Practice is not a replacement for health insurance. While being a member of our practice covers your primary care needs, it does not cover the costs of hospitalizations, major surgery, or specialist care. Therefore, you will need insurance to cover the costs of these expenses. In our experience, direct primary care pairs well with a high-deductible health insurance plan to ensure adequate coverage for all your healthcare and medical needs.
